Get ready for a night of Swing dancing that you won’t soon forget! It is that time again where we feature live music in different genres from Country to Swing and Argentine Tango to Salsa at Dance FX Studios in Mesa, Arizona. This time, Come Back Buddy, a throwback band who features oldies hits from Buddy Holly and beyond, will pay us a visit on Saturday, March 9th for great music and FUN!

Dance FX Studios’ Swing dance party kicks off at 8 pm with a complimentary Swing dance lesson for beginners. That’s right, bring your friends to this “open to the public” event and get them hooked on Swing dancing too! After our Swing dance class, you can get out on the dance floor with dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, in a non-intimidating space and enjoy great music until 11 pm.

“What is so great about Swing dancing?” you may ask. Well, how many hobbies can you think of that are not just fun and exciting, but are a great source of exercise, stress relief and romance? Swing dancing offers those benefits and so much more. If a challenge is what you are looking for, the amount of moves that you can learn while Swing dancing are endless! Our introductory lessons are just $40 for an hour-long sampler of several styles of Swing dancing. Did you know that there are 24 variations of Swing dancing? We will show you just a few during your introductory lesson along with how to have a proper Swing dance frame and how to establish a connection with your dance partner. Private introductory lessons are set up by appointment Monday through Friday from 12 to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm. We would LOVE to share our passion for dancing with you!

Join Us This Wednesday for Salsa Dancing!

Do you know how to Salsa dance but you never find the time (or courage) to make your way out to a Salsa club? Would you like to learn to Salsa dance because you know how fun, sexy and exciting it is? Well join us this Wednesday evening for a night out on the town to one of our favorite local Salsa dance clubs. This Wednesday, February 27th, the staff and students of Dance FX Studios in Mesa, AZ are heading over to Dave and Buster”s in Tempe for Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha Cha dancing on their rooftop terrace.

For just $25 per person, a Night Out with Dance FX Studios will include a Salsa dance class for beginners (with more intermediate Salsa moves included), your first drink at the bar and Latin dancing with the Dance FX Studios’ staff and students until 11 pm! Our Night’s Out are a wonderful opportunity to get out to local Salsa dance places with other singles and couples who are also learning to Latin dance. Additionally, you will have the Dance FX Studios’ staff to help assist you out on the dance floor if you have questions about your dance moves.

You have never danced Salsa or Bachata before but you want to come anyway? Good for you! In between now and Wednesday, we can get you started with an introductory Latin dance lesson to learn the basics of Salsa, Bachata and Merengue one-on-one with a Dance FX Studios instructor. Our introductory lesson is just $40 for an hour-long sampler of up to 4 Latin dances. With an introductory Salsa dance lesson, you will become acquainted with how to lead or follow as well as how to connect with your dance partner. Singles can dance directly with their instructor for an even faster way to get to their dancing goals.

Beyond your introductory lesson, you can further explore Salsa and Bachata dancing with more individual dance lessons. This Saturday night Country band Two-bit Shotgun re-visits Dance FX Studios in Mesa, Arizona. Enjoy an evening of Country Two-Step, Swing dancing and FUN with live Country music. Here are the details on a night you won’t want to miss:

1. Let’s Get This Party Started…: Guests may arrive at Dance FX Studios at 8 pm. Upon their arrival, each person will receive a raffle ticket. One lucky winner will get an exciting prize valued at $100! As the Country band Two-bit Shotgun kicks off the evening with modern Country music mixed with Country classics, dancers can hit the floor and Two Step, Swing or Waltz the night away.

2. Learn to Country Two-Step: Don’t dance? No worries! Early in the evening, we will teach you how to Country dance. Beginners, learn the basics to the Two-Step so you too can get out on the dance floor. Country dancing is easy and exciting and you can do it!
