Country and Latin Group Dance Classes

As 2012 comes to a close, Dance FX Studios is offering one final round of  4-week group dance courses to get you ready for upcoming holiday parties, nights out on the town and date nights with your special someone. Group dance classes are also a great way to meet friends and make connections while sharing in the same new hobby, dance! The two classes being offering between November 27th and December 20th, 2012 are the Salsa and Bachata Latin class and Two Step and Swing Country dance class.

Dance FX Studios’ Latin class will be held on Tuesdays at 7-8 pm for 4 consecutive weeks beginning on Tuesday, November 27th. This class will include the Salsa and Bachata each hour as you build on fun and useful new moves from week to week. Our Country dance class will include both the Two Step and the Swing and will be held on Thursdays from 7-8 pm beginning on November 29th, 2012.

Both the Country and Latin dance classes are open to couples and singles with NO dance experience. With our unique style of instruction, you will learn key tips in each dance to make you comfortable on any social dance floor within a short time. Even those dancers who have learned more than the basics will benefit from dance  classes at Dance FX Studios so that they can gain a better understanding of what most classes at other places don’t offer; lead and follow, how to hold a proper dance frame, etc..

In our remaining 4-week class of 2012, we WILL be rotating dance partners to give everyone a chance to experience leading and following a variety of partners. Starting in 2013, our NEW 4-week group dance classes will be divided up between couples and singles. In our single’s classes, we will continue to rotate partners to gain the social benefits of dance classes for adults as well as the leading/following benefits. Our couple’s dance class will include couples staying with the partner that they signed up with for the 4-week dance class.

Dance FX Studios’ final Latin and Country dance classes for 2012 are open to both couples and singles. Singles pay $50 for all 4 weeks of classes while couples receive a discount for signing up as a pair. Couples pay just $75 for all 4 weeks total.

A Fall Affair November Event

The event of the fall season is happening right here at Dance FX Studios! “A Fall Affair” is being held Saturday, November 17th, 2012 to raise funds for a local domestic abuse shelter. Co-hosted by Dance FX Studios and Hair Ink, “A Fall Affair” this year marks the first year for what will become an annual event.   Proceeds from the event , we go to support a division of “A New Leaf” called the Autumn House, located in Mesa, Arizona. For over 25 years, “A New Leaf” has positively affected the lives of many victims throughout Arizona  by providing housing to victims of domestic abuse.

Dance FX Studios and Hair Ink Salon are dedicated to raising a minimum of $5,000 to donate to “A New Leaf”. We would love to have the support of our community to make the goal a reality. Dance FX Studios, where the event will be held, is centrally located in the Phoenix metro valley just off the 101 highway, for your convenience. We are in Mesa,  minutes away from Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert and Chandler so there is no excuse why everyone can’t come out and help a great cause.

A Fall Affair will  feature some amazing vendors, raffle items and sponsors.Vendors include Origami Owl, Lia Sophia, Zumba Fitness and Scentsy so you can get all of your holiday shopping done early AND give back to charity, all in the same night!  In addition to vendors, we will also be featuring unique services that you can’t find just anywhere. Have you ever had your fortune read in chocolate? Would you like to meet a nutritionist who comes and cleans out your pantry for you? We will have it all at A Fall Affair charity event.

In addition to unique vendors and services, there will be 50 raffle items for you to bid on including rounds of golf, gift baskets, jewelry and gift cards from Native New Yorker!  Sugar Lips Cakery and My Big Fat Greek Restaurant are sponsors to the event, providing all of the food and yummy treats.

Excited yet? We know we are! If you are looking for one more thing to make your night complete, we have it. There will also be a complimentary Salsa dance class held at the event. The fun just goes on and on….

“A Fall Affair” is bound to be one of Dance FX Studios’ biggest events yet and, with your support, we can make a difference in our community while having a great time at the event.
