We are so proud and excited to announce that 2011 marked Dance FX Studios’ 10 year anniversary! From humble beginnings in Tempe to our current location in Mesa which boasts over 5,000 square feet, we have come a long way.

For those of you who are curious, here’s the short version of how Dance FX Studios began…

Our vision for Dance FX stemmed from a strong desire to create students that could dance with confidence in any social dance situation. Coming from a more traditional Ballroom dance studio, we knew that we had to modify our entire way of teaching to make this concept a reality.

Much thought went into developing a syllabus and teaching style that could represent what we offer… real dancing for real people. For over a decade, our step-by-step (no pun intended :)) approach to teaching has helped thousands to learn to dance.

Over the years our concept has been attempted to be replicated by other studios- which we take as a true compliment. Our commitment to you is that we will continue to evolve and grow our unique and original product to stay ahead of the pack. It is our mission to positively affect the life of each and every person that comes through our doors. Hence the name “Dance FX” and our first, yet cheesy, tagline: “Dance FX Studios… because dance FX YOU!”.
