Fitness Class Descriptions

With our new fitness group classes, you can receive all of the benefits of taking classes at a gym without committing to a monthly membership! Drop in (or pre-pay and save $$) to any fitness class at Dance FX Studios including Zumba and Total Body FIT! All of our fitness classes are taught by certified instructors in their fields of expertise and are wonderful workouts. Offered 5 days/week. Please read class descriptions below to find out about appropriate attire and footwear.

Zumba: By far our most popular class at Dance FX Studios, you can now enjoy Zumba 3 times per week from the Valley’s best, Suzanne Stemmerman and Frankie Valenzuela. Zumba is a fusion of Latin dancing and aerobics, making this high energy class highly addictive and tons of FUN! Join us every Monday at Wednesday at 6 pm and Saturday at 10 am for a true party on the dance floor!

Total Body FIT: Total Body FIT (Fitness Interval Training) is an awesome workout incorporating cardio conditioning, muscular strength and endurance, and body sculpting for a total body transformation. Intervals of power moves and body conditioning are designed to boost metabolism. Classes are held at 9:30am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  People of ALL fitness levels will enjoy maximum results in this hour-long fun and results-oriented class. Daily routines will alternately focus on upper body, lower body and core work. Each week you’ll find new and challenging ways to get your Total Body FIT!

Bring a water bottle and a towel, wear comfortable clothing and supportive, non-marking athletic shoes.

NEW!! Personal Fitness Training: Now you can join certified fitness trainer Julia Johnson for personal training sessions right here at Dance FX Studios! Julia offers specially designed fitness programs for individuals and small groups (up to 5) to help learn the proper way to exercise to reach personal health goals, improve strength, manage chronic health problems, become or remain able to perform activities of daily living with little or no physical restrictions, improve fitness for a specific sport or event and more! Personal training sessions with Julia are available Monday through Friday from early mornings to afternoons by appointment.
